Without googling the term, It definitely looks like it might sound like an aromatic organic compound, but of course that doesn't mean it has to have an odor whatsoever!

I now have just googled it, so now I know what it is, but I don't know what it smells like.

Interesting to know how that compound is used considering its listed side affect...but not surprising (once again more evidence of humanity at war with itself).

that's what had me wondering, I assume it's used as a binder or in a compound maybe.

Having analysed its structure I'd guess it probably has a soft delicate, floral, lily, cyclamen, lilac note reminiscent of hydroxycitronellal.

before I googled it I guessed it had a smell based on the "methyl" part, the "hexene" part, and the "aldahyde" part. I am guessing that in the EU this is listed as an "ingrediant" where in the US it is refered to by a general term like "FRAGRANCE".
