I'd been ignoring this thread for years, but I'm glad I peeked in this time. That Nixon company makes some nice watches, and I have a hard time finding watches that I like. They are usually way too fucking busy with extra knobs and dials and shit I don't need, or the face is blank except for a stupid diamond and the name (women's watches are especially guilty of this shit). That crimson Mellor is sweet!

Naturally, in the US, we are big on the metric system.

I don't own one and probably never will, but I think these are pretty neat:

It was developed by Rolex in the 1950s for power plant workers and others who worked in environments where there were strong electromagnetic fields.

Bought it new 18 years ago.
Because of one incident ,it's had new bezel, glass & face. Fliplock replaced through wear.
Because of that it looks quite new.
Takes the rough-stuff (apart from above) & looks ok with a whistle.

In really interesting places I wear a 1972 Cabot Watch Co.(CWC) Military Issue Mechanical Aviators Chronograph (Valjoux 7765 movement) with grey military canvas strap.
This was given to me and it all works.

I just leave the radio on really!!

It's not that often that my watches are in the same place & with a d-camera around.
The CWC may be of interest.

Is that a Zero Halliburton they're sitting on? If so, I'm such a fag for noticing that, but at least it took me seven years.

The 121,5 MHz frequency will not be actively monitored by satellites anymore in less than a year.

There will be a new frequency set up at 406 MHz, but apparently Breitling cannot exchange the emergency watch module to that frequency.

No worries. For $15,740 you can replace it with the Breitling Emergency II.
