not usually nor will your insurance be covered.
I know the law. And I have spent my entire life in its flagrant disregard.

If you do, be sure to have lots of magnetic flags and ribbons on it

Yes

Funny that you ask that because I am in the process of importing an Escalade to Southeast Asia

But depending in the country expect to pay between 20% and 1000% duties

Some countries have loopholes to avoid the import dues if you bring the car over under a locally incorporated company for a set amount of time

But no matter what it will cast ya

Thanks James.

DO you have to ask the bank that actually owns the car if you can take it abroad? Or can you just put it on a ship?

Technically you would have to tell the bank, but then they would probably say no so don’t tell them

People in the military ship their financed cars overseas every day, its no big deal

But seriously dude, you are looking at a spending a minimum of 20K not including the import dues (That could be 2 to 20 times the value of the car itself)

What country do you want to ship a car to?

Yea, I gues you are correct.

But I read that you had to have the title to clear US customs and if you don't own the car you don't have the title.

I guess if it gets stolen or banged up then that is on you.

I don't have to pay customs or anything like that...one of the perks of my job:)

If your job affords you special privileges then just ask your office how to do it, they should know

Thanks for the info though.

Financed or no,

Tried importing a vehicle to Costa Rica. They wanted 100% of it's value for fees. Fuck that.
I am the object of criticism around the world. But I think that since I am being discussed, then I am on the right track.
