OK, most folks here I am sure know the back story on this knife, so here's some early testing I have done with it.

The Bottle Opener:No big surprise, it works!

The Mini Pry bar:This is a great idea, small but tough and saves you from using the blade tip for things you probably shouldn't.

Very quickly, I decided it was a good idea to tie the sheath to the knife with the lanyard cord, to prevent slipping off when using it for leverage.

The wire breaker notch:Works great, it took a few minutes to break some barbed wire, but most of that was because I had to be very careful with barbs on either side of the blade. Plain wire, can be snapped very quickly.

The black coating inside the notch took a beating, but I figure if your needing to use this feature for real, the blade finish is probably not a worry any more!

One tip I picked up on another forum, was a handy tool for the removable scale screws. A 6mm flat washer fits the screws perfectly, so I threaded one onto the lanyard.

This knife truly is amazing. An awful lot of features that actually work, put into a knife that is still small enough to be handy when you need it.

Indeed...thanks. How easily did the wire break?

It took about 3-4 minutes to break it. Most of that was due to the barbs. Between them and the blade edge, it took me a few tries to find a grip that was safe and could bend the wire at the same time. Regular none barbed wire, breaks much faster.

This is doing it old school but you can also use it as a wire stripper and lashing point. That washer is a great idea and you could have fun with making em out of magnesium to start fires.

Got mine today! Unfortunately didn't get a numbered one but I love it so far light easily concealable and looks to be very durable. Can't wait to put it to the test.

First post, might as well try and spend some $ with it.

Are these still sold out?
