The way now to buy them is off of craigslist or at auction.

I have a great Ziegel rifle case that I picked up about six months ago for forty bucks at an auction.

If you can find older vintage Zero Haliburton cases there is a decent collector market for them as well.

For the most part, I've found that they become useless and more of a pain in the ass to deal with than beneficial once you are in country. Plus I've had to constantly answer "are there firearms in there?" by every tard in a uniform in airports.

Other than a 1500 carry on holding plates and plate carrier that never leaves my side whilst flying,
I've gotten rid of the rest and gone back to soft, large load out (black, not "hey look at me" tacticool airsoft ninja multicam or marpat) bags.
I am the object of criticism around the world. But I think that since I am being discussed, then I am on the right track.

I have my epics for 5 years and was thinking recently to buy new ones. How often do you buy new diabolos?

Pelicans shatter at low temps when dropped, the o ring seal always goes missing, they make freeze dried food taste like crap and they slide all over the place adding far too much weight for their benefit. Thankfully they fixed the snaps which destroyed many a thumbnail. When I worked with CNN or on some of my TV shoots it was like moving small houses.

Nothing says STEAL ME like a flotilla of stickered pelicans being checked in.

I prefer heavy clear vinyl kayak bags inside traditional luggage or duffels.

Mental and physical notes made. Thanks RYP.
