LOS ANGELES, CA –Law enforcement professionals know that they always need to expect the unexpected. That a routine traffic stop could become un-routine at any moment. The UZI Tactical Pen takes something as trivial as a pen and turns it into a potential life saving tool. The most unique feature of the pen is that it employs the UZI DNA Catcher on the crown of the pen. The sharpened crown on the end can be used to jab or poke an attacker, which will not only cause extreme pain, but it will also collect the aggressors’ DNA which can be used for future identification.

The UZI Tactical Pen is another one of the tools that every officer should keep in their arsenal for those times that they need to expect the unexpected. Made from high-grade aircraft aluminum, the UZI Tactical Pen, available in Gun Metal Gray is a very durable pen for any work condition, plus the added benefit of being a potential lifesaver!

Visit CampCo’s booth 14409 at the 2010 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada and see the new UZI Tactical Pen. Visit CampCo at www.campco.com www.campcosupport.com MSRP $19.95

Is this a joke? Are they serious? Couldn't any metallic pen be used for the same purpose, but without the sticker price?

Hilarious. What will they come up with next?

I saw the pen at a Photo show. Apparently, they're producing products and getting branding from certain companies, UZI, Hummer, etc...

DNA Catcher sounds creepy. I prefer the Spooge Bucket or the Bitsa Bad People Scoop

As for a pen I have always plugged the $5 buck Montblanc LeGrand refill as the cheapest, best survival tool and pen that doesn't require a $400 holder. Its fat enough to be its own pen (comes with plastic cap) and is not something you want to have jabbed in your groin or neck.

I prefer the Mitsubishi Pencil Uni-Ball Micro...

This could also be Lance Armstrong's site, he named the cafe in his bike shop "Juan Pelota's".

S&W has also prostituted its name to a line of "Tactical" pens, I guess it's machined aluminum for better stabbing?

In the movie Grosse Pointe Blank John Cusack kills a terrorist by stabbing him in the neck with a cheapo pen that was given to him at his high school reunion. As he leaves the building (after burning the body in the high school furnace) he says, "Take care, Ken. Thank you for the pen."

I stabbed a guy in the neck once with a standard yellow colored wood pencil. He let go.

I stabbed a ten year old in the leg with a #2 pencil. I was also ten at the time.
