Clothing Materials

100% cotton stays wet. 100% nylon is to fragile. Anybody have any experience with 50/50 Nylon/Cotton or
65/35 Polyester/Cotton in a hot, humid environment?

that 65/35 poly cotton is going to suck.

your best bet is to go with an empty suitcase and buy an outfit made of what the locals wear.

that or go with linen if you can afford it. get the good stuff.

and if it's really hot 100% cotton is going to feel great.

I don't care how stuff looks out in the wilderness, but I once had an expensive Linen blazer/jacket.
After 5 mins at the airport it looked like a sack of shit. Yeah I know...it's meant too.

Each too their own. I hated it.
I gave it away. (I never liked the guy much :^)

linen can look really bad when it gets damp.

i am a big fan of silk. you can wash it in the sink and it will be dry in 30 minutes. it feels good next to the skin. it is durable.
