The Chinese might as well sell their vehicles over here...They've seemingly got every other consumer market locked up.

That is what they are hoping for (or should be). The only problem is that if everything is fally-aparty then people will stop buying it. The Scooters they sell are incredibly cheap for new vehicles but some of the reviews of them range from "they are useless because they don't work" to "its cool that they don't work because I like to fix things and make them work"

So, if they could put together a motorised bicycle like the one above that worked with minimal puttering, then they would clean up. I also think they need to go four stroke. People now just do not want to be bothered with adding oil to fuel in the proper ratio. Plus they have to remember to start out by following a fairly strict "break in procedure" of adding more oil to the fuel than normal and driving at max rpms (I think that is how it goes with two strokes...its been a while for me). Plus seeing the layout of the thing I predict it will have leaky fuel lines. Not a problem for someone with a garage but a big problem for me in my apartment.

Two stroke? I predict regulatory hurdles with noise and emissions.

I actually agree with this. The two choices are, one, pedal yourself, or two, get a full size murdercycle. The first hint that one of my family's friends was gay was when he came back from college with a moped.

I had a Vespa moped. I still do in Wisconsin.

Mopeds are cool like bow ties.

Yep. Gay.

Mopeds ridden by Horny Thai spunk bags to & from work in places such as Nakhon Phanom is what they're made for.
One hand on the throttle and the other holding an umbrella to keep the sun off their faces. Beautiful.

Bow ties not gay on guys that can carry it off.

I know what you guys are saying about the 2 strokers, but there are some companies investing in technology that is directed on making them have very low emissions - even lower than 4 strokes - with oil injection. I know the relatively new design from ecomotors is a 2 stroke and supposedly pretty efficient, but there is another company who threw a small displacement 2 stroke engine in a sport bike a couple of years ago and made it go just as fast as a 1000+ cc 4-stroke engine - but I can't find the company through a google search.

2 strokes are kick ass due to their power to weight ratio, but yeah, it is a pita to mix oil properly and they are stinky polluters to be sure. Correct the two disadvantages to them, and I think that would be the way to go.

Personally, I like all wheeled vehicles I have ever seen. Some make more sense to me than others, but most of them take the burden of direct locomotion off my legs and that is a relief.

For the record, I didn't even know that game was still around and I have never played it.
