Desert boots for North Africa

Postby sentone » Fri Sep 03, 2010 2:23 am

I'm going to North Africa next month and need to get desert boots. I'm in US and can't seem to find any of the brands I've seen recommended in previous posts. Any suggestions?

depends on what yer gonna do. just walikng? hiking rocky hills? how stylish you want to be? altama's a good but heavy. oakly's (the mil spec ones) are good. garmont tactical has a good liteweight boot. although they call it a jungle boot.

Vasque Breeze! I've had my pair for 3 years. Very good support, and exceptionally breathable.
