Always have a back-up communication system. The Internet isn't always going to be there when you need it.

i enjoy seein two nuts argue over which apocalypse gear will be more appropriate for their respective world-ending paranoid delusions. its like the cdc doing the zombie epidemic plan but without the tongue-in-cheekedness that reminds the audience of the underlying safety net of sanity which couches humor and irony in an otherwise wholly insane discussion.

that means i want to see more of this. so please continue this enlightening discussion

Notwithstanding USB adapter-SATELLITE UpLink/Downlinks,

Shortwave signals (VHF/UHF/SW/Micros) are all encompassed
In "Kool-Hacker Recipes & Programs For DUMMIES", etc. thereby
Making morse-code and ham-knowledge, in general, ABSOLETE.

Nonetheless, a simple RADIO-SHACK scanner
Is about all most people will ever need for

The APOCALYPSE.

PostScript : Correct yourselves if I'm wrong in assuming computers now transcribe all MORSE & SW signals for USCG via computer.

Can we have the apocalypse now please? I'm bored already.
I'm not really a proper reporter, due to the chronic lack of discipline, negligible attention span, and a certain juvenile difficulty taking serious things seriously.
