Fuji XE-1

Just bought one a couple of weeks ago. It's touchy and you need to shoot deliberately vs spray and pray but it's an excellent camera. Anyone else have one, or an X-Pro? Curious to know what you use it for, this is a back up street camera for me.

Nice camera the XE-1, don't have one but have used them. The 18-55 lens is pretty good too. I personally prefer the X-Pro 1 with it's hybrid optical/digital finder, don't mind the X100 either...

Jolly nice sub-compact, a type which is becoming jolly popular for chaps who have half an idea what they want to photograph, and why.

I lugged around large cameras during the Olympics and hated it. Nothing worse than being bogged down by megalarge camera bodies. The XE-1 takes some getting used to but if you know what you're doing and are patient, much like with film, you can get alot out of it. I've got the 18-55MM and the only other lens I'll get for it will be a 14MM. Next camera is the Nikon F100. I'd like to get the new X100s but I think after the F100 the next camera's going to be a Nikon D3s or D600. Of course, I could always use the iPhone camera, ala Time Magazine photographer Michael Christopher Brown.

Have you tried Roys?

I was told that they have size 28 Fuji reel seats in stock.

Don

Well, I verified with Roys and they ARE OUT OF size 28.
