I just cleared about 1200 lbs of hibiscus shrubs from my new backyard with one of these
And from thence they went to Beer....(Num 21:16)

Estwing makes great tools - and made in the USA. For brush clearing, though, I use a big kukri with hockey tape wrapped around the wooden handle. I don't know if it's any more effective, but it makes me feel like a Gurkha.
