Snowshoes.

I'm thinking of getting a new pair of snowshoes.
I've always used traditional Huron or Ojibway pairs but the
new high tec. ones look preety groovy.
Anyone here tried them?
Any and all comments welcome.

i have the atlas yellow ones (i think they're the 12 series). heavyduty mountaineering ones with good crampons and the bindings are very secure and can be adjusted with thick gloves on. never ever had a problem in 4 years of pretty heavy use. expensive but worth it. get the atlas.
