trade in your Altoids tin for carrying your mini-kit!!!!

Postby BIG-TARGET » Fri Feb 25, 2005 2:23 pm

I stumbled across something a little better. A Whitman's Chocolate "cloisonne" tin.

It is about a half an inch longer than an altoids tin,and about a hair short of an inch deeper than an altoids tin. Even though I have diabetes, i gave the chocolate to Susan(she's happy now )

This is the best tin,so far, for a few extra goodies in your mini-kit!!!!

PS>>>>>The colorful european baroque design on the tin adds a some class to the mini-kit too.

I tried my Altoids tins for the first time in a camping trip after making them 4 yrs ago. Lessons learned.
- I packed them so tightly with things I couldn’t find when needed. Mine were for emergencies only, never to be opened again
- Wound up with bags of a tangled mess
- If I know it’s going to be a mess opening one for a single item, I won’t bother and do without.

I’ll try putting only a few necessities inside so I won’t worry about opening a big mess every time. Will report back next year :)
