Unless your wife decides the only pop in the house should be "diet"
I guess once your married diet pepsi and rum and Rum and Coke will have to taste the same.

Do you hear me? (Christ no more Labatt Sterling please, where is my hidden bushmills?)

well try this: vodka and diet orange soda with a little bit of cranberry juice. and if youre drinking a lot of hard liquor, i don't know if being health-conscious about diet soda will help you too much. well, at least not your liver.

Pepsi-had

Postby DawnC71 » Tue Jun 15, 2004 2:35 am

In my quest to support the underdogs of the world I voted for pepsi.....but i dont drink any of that stuff...would not want to ruin perfectly god vodka, rum, etc....
You might wanna know that both pepsi and coke are one pH percentage point away from being required by the EPA to put HAZMAT signs on their delivery trucks. My Army Environmental Compliance instructor claimed that the only reason the EPA changed the pH standards for Hazardous Materials was because it would not be good for the soda industry to have to drive around with the signs on their trucks....go figure aye?

Hey Kilroy,

Fortunately I am not driven to the hard stuff yet, enjoy beer (the nectar of the Gods), but if I am forced to drink diet pepsi and have non-fat sour cream on baked potatoEs,etc. I will eventually get there.

What happened to bread? Does it still exist? My wife won't buy the shit anymore. Must have been something in Cosmo.

has that atkins motherfucker gotten to every chick in north america? if he hadn't died, he'd probably be running for president by now.

and light sour cream is the bane of all that is holy. i was just forced to eat some on my nachos, and damn near ruined my day.

I feel your pain. It is almost sacrilege to have (Lay's) baked tortilla chips with low fat mozz ( M Jack isn't as readily available in my part of the GWN), and non-fat sour cream, with make believe salsa (minus salt).

Light sour creme is nothing. About a year ago, Mrs. Skiritai tried her hand at making some baked potatoes with vegan tofu-based "sour cream".. Sweet christ jesus... The horrors of that day are beyond description...

But on a positive note, I think she'd rather be fed to Jabba the Moore than give up bread.

Make a black russian (vodka & kaluha), toss in some pepsi. You're good to go.
When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? To surrender dreams - -this may be madness; to seek treasure where there is only trash. Too much sanity may be madness! But maddest of all - -to see life as it is and not as it should be.

Have you got any back up for this? This sort of story sets my Urban Myth Detector a-wailing.

Yeah

Postby Stiv » Tue Jun 15, 2004 10:27 am

Gotta go with the Rum angle here. Pepsi doesn't quite cut it. Not that I haven't drank fouler combos.

Never trust sodas that you can't use as mixers ie Mountain Dew and Dr.Pepper.

Non fat and low carb are like what's the point? Eat the real stuff but not as often. Turkey burgers are wrong.

Best,
Stiv
