Well, we've been known to do some serious offshore fishing. Big stuff that can't be wrassled into a boat.
Between big fish thrashing around .. sharp fins.. teeth .. powerful tails smashing around .. etc .. it can get a little hairy. That's usually when the sharks make the scene.
I don't know about you but after fighting a fish for 4 to 12 hours I'm not going to sit there and watch the sharks shred them up. If one shark is wounded the others tear him up and we can get out of there. But it doesn't always work like that.
I don't kill things for fun.
Just for some perspective. We love big tuna.
