What's Your Favorite Type Of Asian Sword ?

Postby Hitoru » Sat Aug 30, 2008 3:12 am

I'm really partial to Chinese Broadswords. Has anyone else trained with them ?

They are really close to machetes in their balance and weight, and I play with machetes very often .

All day I hack and slice at herbage. And chase fuckers around with them.

The first time I went to Thailand I got chased by a guy with a machete. When I finally ran into a crowd of people and lost him I realized that I wasnt wearing pants. To this day I dont know what happened. That was 22 years ago and I only got around to quitting drinking last year.

That's special.

Really, that's a thing to put past you. But there seems to be a period time you are leaving out.

Scottish Claymore. Followed closely by the Spartan sowrds in 300.

Are they Asian?

Was always very fond of Chinese hook swords.

If they look like machetes, well then it's my favorite type. Best job for those is hacking herbage.

I do NOT like those kinds of jobs though!!!

After several days of consideration I have come up with a personal Top 5
1. Nagamitsu Tachi
2. Mihara Wakizashi
3. Dao
4. Dadao
5. Taijijian
