Glastonbury

Heaven for oldies this year. Neil Young last night, Crosby Stills and Nash today (David Crosby still flying his freak flag after all these years) and later tonight, the Boss. Marvellous. (And Spinal Tap singing Stonehenge. Lily Allen was good too.) Michael Eavis looks as if he's really enjoying it again.

When CS and N launched into Teach your children as their last song I was sure Neil Young was going to stroll onstage, but sadly not.
Shes never interfered with me. I have no complaints about her.
Same here.
Mega ditto.
I met her once and I found her to be a nice lady. Not kookey in any way.
Penta has always been gracious, kind and very sane in all my interactions with her.

...is a giant sheep pen full of people who like a crowd and its lazy, witless opinion. I hear Swine Flu has broken out there, quarantine and napalm, the way ahead. We'd certainly clear out the BBC pension balance considering the number of smug, passed over presenters who are their getting the annual paid holiday before the real one kicks in and they can jet off to stay in penta's west wing in Spain.

I was there in 2000, it was all a blur. The old hippies stank the place out up at the stone circle. They kept their distance from the hardcore 24-hour party people and banging tunes down at the dance tent. As it should be, the smelly old naked cunts

What a culture difference. Our hippies ARE the 24 hour hard cores (or at least part of the scene). Works for us. Peace!

There's not a real hippie under 50 in Britain, there's a few middle-class kids playing hippie at college, but they'll be bankers and wankers in ten years. Only working class kids know how to hanndle the drink and drugs. The wheel keeps turning.

Hey flippy,

it's always a good thing to embrace your hippie side every once in a while so I dedicate this photo to you.

I never did Glastonbury - I don't deal very well with hippies. Although I'm sure it would make an interesting essay
