I once had a near-life experience. It startled the shit out of me.

We gotta know what it feels like to exist so that we know what it feels like to not exist and vice versa. Don't worry though,the creative intelligence of the universe has good intentions for us all. It might not seem that way but it doesn't have to happen today or tomorrow or six months from now....and it was doing what it's doing long before we were here and will be doing it long after we're gone.

It's like cylinders in an engine,banging and clanging until it reaches reaches a nice equilibrium. Remember,this is infinity and we are but a blip.

I've mentioned this before but it's good to remind myself of this sometimes lest I get caught up in all this bullshit we call reality.

What you see in the physical realm is actually a virtual image created by your brain. An image/reality that we think is the only truth. In fact the physical realm is a manifestation of the metaphysical. In otherwords,there is no 'out there'.

It's almost like we were supposed to learn backwards from an inside-out position. What I mean is,in order to know what we actually are we first have to know what we are not. We are not our mind or bodies.

...and as far as suffering goes I think it has something to do with the fact that we can only know love by first knowing what it's not.

Now after looking at the Haitian pics I think maybe I am doing this to detach. It's hard to not get choked up about what happened there. Life is hard for lots of people.
