As an immigrant to the US, I might have a perspective on the firearm issue. This country is the last one where you can still (with a minimum of effort) own and shoot what you like.
Once the rest of the world catches up (and affords its citizens the same freedoms) there won't be the knee jerk, sour grape reactions that inevitably arise from posts like these.
