Which begs another question....

I was going to come up with a far fetched story about it being Croatia.

1. What rifle is that, and how many rounds does that drum hold?
2. What are you doing in a burnt out church in bumfuck TX at 02:00? I'm curious because I bet the reason you were there is nothing I would have guessed.

It is a Masterpiece Arms MPA-71. A Frankenstein of sorts consisting of (basically) FN/FAL lower mated to a 9mm MAC-11 upper, 16 inch barrel threaded for an H&K three lug adaptor for a suppressor, uses AR15 carbine handguards, a SAW buttstock and it uses easily available (and cheap) Suomi 71 round drum magazines. The gun was actually built around the magazine thanks to the old ban that allowed the mags to be imported as curios but made it illegal to adapt them for use in other guns. Enter Gary Pool and Len Savage and a few others who decided to design a new rifle basing it on the Suomi magazine and the end result was the MPA-71.

Well, let's say I'm not willing to post it on the internet ;)

Alright...I'll have to start guessing then. Waiting your turn?

Or perhaps you're standing watch while your colleagues cook up some meth in the already burnt out structure?

How close do we need to come? With a little luck, I'll be over in Houston in a few days. Just right down 10. and Those are part of the plans - just don't know if my buddy is down in LA or up in ATL right now - if he's up in ATL, I'm gonna bypass his place and headed toward Central TX by way of Houston area.

...and btw my guess is zombie hunting (the pillaging kind) - figure out who might have lit the match.

U.S. Optics

The SSDS SN-3 3.2-17X is a variable magnification scope that was made for the USMC Scout Sniper Day Scope solicitation. This scope was built with the specific BDC information of the M40A3 rifle into the knob for target engagement out to 1100+ yards. This patented duel detent knob utilizes two sets of ball detents, one acts as a 1/2MOA per click adjustment, the other is a heavier detent for the BDC. The operator is able to adjust the elevation knob in complete darkness with just the feel of the knob. The U.S.#3 windage knob is standard in ¼ MOA per click with a stop to keep from traveling past one revolution. An adjustable objective provides accurate parallax adjustment from 50yrds. to infinity. Reliable adjustments and extreme durability make this scope a very effective tool in the field. MOA or MIL reticles allow you to use whichever unit of measure you desire. Optional finish colors available at an additional charge. Scope body, eye piece, objective housing and any and all other body parts are made with 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and are then coated with a matte black type III hard anodizing. Elevation knobs materials consist of stainless, brass and 4130 Chrome Moly, ball detents are tungsten carbide with a stainless steel jacket. Duel elevation and windage rebound springs will insure decades of reliable and accurate adjustments.
