What would it cost to assemble the original 1960's Toyota FJ45 in today's factory?

For example... the Volkswagen Beetle was made into the 2000's in Mexico... what was a cost per unit on that for comparison?

doesn't matter since its still a shit car. You can buy old school Range Rovers (90's and oughts) for under 10K. Best off road deal out there. The best single car is the 95 LWB Range Rover.

I guess that's fine if you're in the US or somewhere with access to Land Rover parts, but in the central asian stans you'd want a Uaz...

Hilux is the way to go, interchangeable drive train with a lot of the american bits and you can find it around the world.

the range rover is getting outdated and is becoming a collectable and the second and third generations are just jokes and are purpose built for city driving.
