there are some hippies around here who teach "animal processing" http://www.paleotechnics.com/
i figure i should learn what you do with the critter once you bag it to make it into tasty dinner, no?

My annoying sister inlaw was droning on about those same hippies.

The main thing is not to cut the urine bladder.

If it ain't storming tomorrow I'm taking some of my minions to the appleseed shoot .
Range report to follow.

Cordage making is always fun. I really would like to get the fire drill figured out too. One of the BOSS instructors had a whole set of buck skin duds he made himself.

who said i had a failed marriage? i call it a raging success.

it just ended. that doesn't make it a fail. the post-marriage part of our relationship is better than the marriage part was. my exhusband is one of my best friends. (so is his wife).

or was that your attempt at humor?

lol - yeah, i was trying to teach p. how to handle my 1911 - and it looked all wonky - so i tried to show him how to do it one handed, when i realized he was a southpaw - so it wasn't gonna work.

Reminds me of my Dad teaching me how to play ball. Neither of us realized how big of a problem it was. I'm still hopeless, to this day. I think they might have still tried to beat left handedness out of kids back then.
