So far I have learned that :
Pinz's are easy to work on.
The parts are expensive.
The drive train is loud as fuck on the road.
With the seats removed, engine shroud off, and the front cooling tin removed, as the engine was not charging I had to fix the burnt out molex connector between the alternator and coil . I also adjusted the idle and sync'd the carbs. Man she purrs now.
I replaced all the oils in the transmission, transfer case, both differentials and all four portals.
Bled all the brakes.
Specs

Axle drive by way of bevel gear differentials to pairs of spur gears in the wheel hubs. Front axle with completely sealed parallel joints. Both the front and rear hydraulically operated differential locks, which can be operated separately while in motion.
Chassis and Suspension
Torsion resistant central-tube chassis with swing Axles (independent wheel suspension) Incorporating the transfer case and the axle drives. Front and rear coil springs (dual each side on rear) (710 4X4). Front coil and rear parabolic leaf springs in the rear (712 6X6) Additional progressive rubber hollow springs and double- acting shock absorbers. Self-supporting body in various executions.
Steering:
ZF-Gemmer worm steering with roller as separate wheel steering with split track rods. 5 turns from lock to lock. Turning circle 10.37 m (4X4) and 12.28m (6X6).
Brakes:
Dual circuit power brake system. Drum brakes. Brake drum diameter 285mm, brake lining width 76mm, total braking area 1718cm squared (4X4) and 2520cm squared (6X6). Duplex-type front wheel brakes, duo-servo rear wheel brakes. Hand brake acting on the drive shaft (on all wheels) via axial discs.
Electrical system:
