I dig the fact it sits low and has 1cyl.

Yeah, me too. Low center of gravity bikes are my favorite rides. I wonder if one cylinder = low tech? Probably not, considering the price. Your Morgan should be here soon, no?

I am hoping the Morgan will be here soon but when you order a weird car you gotta wait. I am certain I will be the only owner of one that is not a millionaire and who has it as his only car.

When I was in Nicaragua I really admired the welding skills of that country and their use of 1cyl motorcycles. I find it interesting that every place in the world has its own DIY & motor culture and driving "accents".

On Jay Leno's Garage I found this company for cheaper custom made "bikes"

http://phantombikes13.com/index.html

$995 to about $2600 but they are motorized bicycles.

Heh. There is a homeless guy that cruises around on a phantom by my place.

What motor is in an alligator? An XR650 with some work done to it?

Good guess.." Modified Honda 710cc air cooled, fuel injected" according to the web-site. Claimed HP is 70. Not bad, considering the platform.
