I went to the nearby recycled music store (you know, the one where they pay you a $1 for that $10 CD so they can charge someone else $5 for it?) to fortify my collection of The Who . Since I always walk around to see what else I can burn two dollars on, I found some Ramones. I'm finding that I really like the Ramones. The lead guitarist's style of continuously playing the same chord is stimulating.
Be nice to me. I'm a rug muncher.

So, since I'm ripping the songs off of my copy of Quadrophenia it reminded me of this hair band cover of The Real Me by W.A.S.P.

I'm doing a lot of design work at the moment at peculiar hours of the night and am on a weird-80s-pop/single-malt-whisky trip. Going wherever it takes me. Bryan Ferry (Don't Stop the Dance - http://youtu.be/XjhTHQhJLxs), Sniff 'N The Tears (Driver's Seat http://youtu.be/njvh-eOYMqw) and Front 242 (Headhunter - http://youtu.be/lPpUFBVSyWs) triangulate nicely.

Paul Roberts of Sniff 'N the Tears is a simply terrific painter. Nothing I can say about his work is better than his work:

I dare you to listen to the "Memo to my enemies... Time is slipping by" section of "They Died" and not sense a spine-shiver of greatness:

Sri - if it ever comes down to it, you and I will necessarily have to compete for the attention, grace and favor of Nina Hagen. In pretty much every apocalyptic scenario we run on the simulators, she comes up on top (unless Brian Eno survives).

I'm not really a proper reporter, due to the chronic lack of discipline, negligible attention span, and a certain juvenile difficulty taking serious things seriously.
