Having been inundated with the Ontarian way of life over the past few days, I am yet still confused as to their passion for the Sub-urban lifestyle.
These folks act like pack animals, shifting along the Ottawa landscape, herds in a midst of trees, moving their groups of young screaming monsters along like newborn calves.
They cannot comprehend a life where one does not hae access to a Harvey's, a mick-y dee's, where one is on a frozen island and must hunt and skin to find their next meal.
Suburbia kills. And yet, it seems we need these people, like the Chinese need factory workers - to get your next round of taxpayer money and funding, to make sure those who are indeed doing the interesting things can remain doing them.
Suburbia, 1am, you're walking home again, shopping bags and broken glass, you're walking through the underpass, I wish there were some other way.... but it's just emptier.
