Food for Thought for the Atheist

Postby Sri Lanky » Wed Apr 11, 2012 5:34 pm

*That which has evolved and unfolded must first be involved and infolded

*All systems of thought attribute the construction of the different parts of the manifested universe to the mediation of purposive beings, working under the instruction of Deity

*Modern thought has tried to escape from the implications of this concept by reducing manifestation to a matter of mechanics;it has not succeeded, and there are signs that it is not far from the point when it will perceive mind as being the root of form

*We will be forced to admit that the causative force behind manifestation is more akin to mind than to matter

*Personifying the different types of force is a legitimate analogy;we realise that the entity, the soul of the force, may differ as much in kind and degree from our minds as our bodies differ in type and scale from the bodies of the planets

*We shall be nearer an understanding of nature if we look for mind as the background than if we refuse to admit that the visible universe has an invisible framework

*Time and space are more like modes of consciousness than linear measures

o to stay on topic tho i think theres probably a god. inasmuch as the entities who built the computing machine and the code in which our universe exists are god. they may have even created us in their image. he/they, however, certainly dont give a shit about us as humans per se but may be valuable as far as data is valuable for analysis pertaining to the project for which the database was designed. we're just a simulation/lines of code and hopefully when i die my spot in memory is not given to a person/construct of our reality that I hate, of whom/which there are so many. if there is a god and he is great, he will do this. otherwise he is a piece of shit i hope his simulation fails to achieve whatever purpose it had, including if it didnt have one. and i hope my data is missing, incomplete, invalid, or otherwise worthless/damaging/counterproductive for whatever progress or goal that was hoped to be attained.

I'm sure you can organise a cheaper means of having a MFF, although probably not without making it obvious.

You are the result of a bet between two geeks in the lab. Geek #2 lost and now has to work Geek #1's shift in Biotech next tuesday, that's the shift where they cure cancer but decide not to release it until after WW3, which is being engineered in Ecopol as we speak as part of Geek #3's Masters, which he has been working on since he created the Mughals.

wasn't this all the plot from the matrix part 99?

The problem with alcoholism humor is that it's only funny when you're drunk.

It's not alcoholism humour, don't you know your memes? It's the Middle Class MILF and I operated largely within the rules (below). Anyway, you're a lefty and as such have no recognisable sense of humour.

THE RULES
The Middle Class Milf is the mother who appears to be an upstanding member of the community, but really she is dirty to the core and just loves to put out and take some.

The first comment usually eludes to a posh activity from a middle class mom. The second comment is then the porno prestige.
