Just out of curiosity would a private security contractor(s) be required to fire warning shots? Do you believe that the company hiring SC would require warning "shots" to be placed before taking a more serious stance? Just wondering is all, not trying to stir the proverbial pot.

Warning shots are a waste of time - six pirates hoofing along at 25 knots in a skiff with an outboard won't hear them or see them. The three different companies I worked for didn't have them in the ROE. If the pirates see weapons on the bridge they'll fuck off sharpish, just hold the gat up there and show them what's waiting for them.
