Having posted that video of Sniff 'n the Tears' The Thrill of it All in memoriam RR3 I was reminded how much I enjoy Paul Roberts' (lead singer) paintings. Consequently I thought why don't we have a thread dedicated to honest, evocative, no-bullshit, art. Here's some good clean stuff from Roberts to get started. I'm ready to fire away with more deeply-unfashionable work from Jack Vettriano and David Mann but would be more interested to see what others are partial to.
I have a thing for the art work of Wes Freed. I even have an original etching. He is best known for doing the covers the of The Drive By Truckers records.

I miss the days of hanging out with Wes and Jyl. Always a great time.
