Or perhaps what they were selling was shite in the first place and ordinary people aren't as stupid as you think.

Stay or leave, actual proper working class people are screwed. This only changes the timing.

And no, I don't think they're stupid.

I know most of you think that reading something that has been properly researched and fact-checked, or by someone knowledgeable in the respective area, or for some of you the simple act of reading, makes you a homosexual, feminist, bourgeoisie libtard, but for the one or two of you who made it past the tenth grade, here's a free 20 page report on Brexit.

...properly researched and fact checked by someone knowledgeable on the fact that it is in their narrow interests as financial shills and globalists to see just one side. The issue that you never respond to is the fact that an unelected group calls the shots from behind closed doors at secret meetings. You have no way to throw the bums out if they aren't acting in your country's interests. Being able to select and reject your leadership is a hallmark of actual democracy. The MEPs have little or no say and are bought and paid for with giant salaries sweetheart tax rates, bottomless expense accounts and private shopping malls closed to the public. They are by and large pols who couldn't get elected dog catcher so they went to cush jobs that do not expose them to the inconvenience of having to answer to a constituency.
FT and the Economist are bought and paid for; wouldn't you expect to hear that Ford cars are the best from a publisher funded by Ford? Every study touting Remain has been funded by EU slush money, go ahead and check.

What planet are you living on? The Economist group is a publicly listed company. The largest shareholder I'd the Agnelli family (who own Fiat). The FT is owned by Nikkei. How exactly do they receive EU funding?

You still haven't said why you think the EU public shouldn't have a say in who represents them and be able to boot them out if they aren't acting in the public interest.

The Economist is 50% owned by the Rothschild family. Need I say more? Oh yeah, I'm talking' to the snaarkster.. This from Wikipedia:

The Economist claims that it "is not a chronicle of economics."[15] It takes an editorial stance of classical and economic liberalism which is supportive of free trade, globalisation, free immigration and cultural liberalism (such as supporting legal recognition for same-sex marriage or drug liberalization). The publication has described itself as "a product of the Caledonian liberalism of Adam Smith and David Hume."[16] It targets highly educated readers and claims an audience containing many influential executives and policy-makers.[17] The newspaper's CEO described this recent global change, which was first noticed in the 1990s and accelerated in the beginning of the 21st century, as a "new age of Mass Intelligence."[18][19]

Define editorial stance for me. I figure it means they say what their masters tell them to say.

If they supported 'free trade' the Brits could fish their own waters and their businesses would not be strangled by EU regs.

And Fiat makes garbage cars; why trust their owners to own an objective magazine?

The majority in England seem to NOT support free immigration or globalisation. But the only way to tell is to let them decide and not a bunch of beaurocrats in Brussels whom NOBODY voted for.

On the FT:

The FT advocates free markets[34] and is in favour of globalisation. During the 1980s it supported Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan's monetarist policies.[35][36] It has supported the UK Labour Party in the past, including at the general election in 1992 when Neil Kinnock was Labour leader.

The FT's editorials tend to be moderately pro-Europe, supporting the European Union in the context of a common economic market and opposing political integration.[37][38] The FT was firmly opposed to the Iraq War.[37]

"In the U.S. presidential election in 2008 the Financial Times endorsed Barack Obama. While it raised concerns over hints of protectionism, it praised his ability to "engage the country's attention," his calls for a bipartisan politics, and his plans for "comprehensive health-care reform".[39] The FT favoured Obama again in 2012.[40]

In the general election in the UK in 2010 the FT was receptive to the Liberal Democrats' positions on civil liberties and political reform, and praised the then Labour leader Gordon Brown for his response to the global financial crisis of 2007–2008, but on balance it backed the Conservatives while questioning their tendency to Euroscepticism.[41] At the subsequent general election in 2015, the FT called for the continuation of the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition that had governed for the previous five years.[42]"

At least they were agin' the Iraq debacle. They say they are against political integration. What the fuck does that mean if Brussels calls ALL the shots? And again with the globalization. If they are against protectionism, why are ALL EU trade regs protectionist?

The UK will stay. MI5 trotted out its handy little "neo Nazi" agent to cap that MP, just like they did with Combat 18, so now all the sheep will baaaaaaa.

We're going to make sure we start shipping these muzzies over there for a little payback.

The "best" of the UK just got their skulls cracked in by Russian fighters in France, while their grand pappies are being stomped by the dregs of the turd world back home.

God...the delicious, delicious irony of it all. I'm going to fucking laugh near to death when London starts burning.

I am the object of criticism around the world. But I think that since I am being discussed, then I am on the right track.

Am no particular fan of the EU, but let's get a grip.

While the senior staff of the Commission are indeed unelected, so are bureaucrats almost everywhere, including those in Whitehall. And those staff – as well as being appointed by the elected governments of the member states, and being subject to confirmation in their positions by the elected European Parliament, and having to report regularly to the EP – cannot make final decisions on EU law or policy. Those decisions are made by the Council of Ministers (consisting of ministers from the elected governments of the member states) and the elected EP. Furthermore, the general direction of the EU is guided by the European Council, consisting of the elected heads of government (or state) of the 28 EU member states. And all the EU institutions are accountable to the treaties and the European Court of Justice. The idea that there is a European government in Brussels with independent powers is nothing more than a myth.

That's funny 'cause Nigel Farage is the MEP from Britain and that isn't how he explains it as he implores his constituency to Brexit. But thanks for an alternate if imprecise view.

Imprecise sure. But more or less proves you were spouting shit on that point.

Guess you should have stuck with the Economist.

El Gringo Nowonmai,

The word on the financial streets is the fix is in. Close paper votes are easy to fix as opposed to the computer crap. Scotland, Austria, etc. I would've thought the other way around. Kurt would know but I hear he's in some institution for people with warped brains so we will get fuck all out of him.
Anyway, time to pucker up buttercup. Once again the socialists have run out of other people's money to spend and the more people there are to rob, well you know the story.
Good luck with it all though, you guys either run like hell or go down with the ship. And it is going down. You can always sell your stuff and buy gold. Then get on a sailboat and sail to Mexico. Just don't take a plane or such, they've got the asset confiscation programs in high gear they're so desperate for money. The Mexican federales are the most corrupt and utterly incompetent boobs on the planet. They make the people in Brussels look like particle physics guys. You can hide out down here no problem and the cartel wars are heating up again which always presents good opportunities.
Cheers
