There were only two occasions for me to be disappointed by Obama.
First, that he didn't shutdown Gitmo.
Second, that he turns his back the first time Assad gassed his people, compounded by his "red-line" statement.
I feel so badly for the Syrian people. They jumped into the Arab Spring and look where dreams of democracy has gotten them.
Democracy in the Middle East? Ha.
Of course, the tweets from Trump to Obama following Assad's first deployment of chemical weapons urged inaction and I'm glad that we're seeing them. Trump's style with every speech & address he makes is to blame his predecessor on everything I hope will come to an end. Enough of that.
Now we will see how this plays out with Putin. That's the sticky wicket.
I'm glad though that the USA sent these missiles. I'll give Trump props for that, while dreading what may be to come.
