Everyone 'knew'. It's just that absolutely everybody - from BBC journalists through to UN kleptocrats - didn't want to talk about it because it didn't fit with their narrative/agenda.

I wish I could say I had missed your particular version of batshit insanity.

But I just haven't.

Hi ROB.

Many thanks for your insightful thoughts and your valuable contributions to the discussion, over the years.

In my estimation, there isn’t much chance of you climbing off that sofa, and beating a path through all those Cheeto crumbs. So,here’s a book for you to read, which is a first hand account from people who - even while you pointlessly troll them - spend significant time in DP’s and see exactly how ‘aid’ is utilised.

If you think that Oxfam workers weren’t sufficiently up to their balls in return for aid packages (or “survival sex” as it’s known by those on the periphery)... then you probably have no idea what the Bulgarians (a.k.a Vulgarians) got up during UNITAC (Phnom Penh). It’s an entirely different echelon on malevolence. But, as you will find it difficult to understand from your armchair perspective, things like nuance and relativity and context really are quite important in such situations.

So... If there isn’t a crane available to hoist your beta Cheeto-plagued ass out of your bedroom window and down to the local bookshop, might I suggest you use some of your social security allowance and download it directly to your tablet so you can read it at your leisure... once you’ve wiped off all the dried congealed bodily fluids.

Cheers,

Tris
