The best ones have expansive, stunning architecture, are easy to navigate, and are just plain efficient. Philadelphia's 30th Street Station is a work of classical architecture worthy of the city's history.

Atocha Station in Madrid has a jungle amid the brick-and-concrete city. The walls of T-Centralen in Stockholm form a roving work of art.

Been to 5 ov em for travel. Sadly Stazione Centrela Roma Termini did not make the list. I have not been in 15 years or thereabouts but when I did travel in and outa the place it was dodgy as fuck. Fuckin gypseys everywhere.

As Rickshaw said Termini Station is rather scummy, at least it was when I was there 24 years ago.

The station in Moscow I actually a metro station and like others there it looks like a retro art gallery or a scene from a David Lynch movie.

Took a train Yangon to Mandalay earlier in the year.

No danger whatsoever, but a heap of fun. Highly recommend it.
