Last year in July

I met a member of "Antifa" as in he was an anti-fascist. He was also a retired high school teacher and a WWII vet. Before the plague all the retired school teachers would get together at this coffee shop in my home town and discuss events of the day and events of the past (most were History teachers)

My dad said "Hey, tell everyone what you were doing 75 years ago today"

"Bombing Hamburg...Only the docks and rail yard"

I said "What do you think about the rise of Nazism and Fascism now?"

"Of course I do not like it. With Germany we could take away everything from them. Make the Nazis no longer economically viable until the country they used as their vehicle surrendered to us on our terms..but we do not have that condition available for us now. We cannot bomb our own country but they have the option of to be violent, so we have to hit them legally and economically so they can no longer function or else someone else will need to bomb us to get rid of them." (not an exact quote but close)

He also did not think Trump was fascist but has fascist tendencies (as FDR and Churchill did as well) but he thought Trumpism is fascist and is more likely to integrate modern fascism into the US government.

See, this is the problem with the left. They appropriate terms and distort them to their own ends.

For example, nothing wrong conceptually with "black lives matter", "liberal", or being "anti-fascist".

But Black Lives Matter is a Marxist front group pushing mostly horrible policies - for black and non-black Americans alike.

Communists and socialists got a bad name after WW2 for basically being the agents and/or pawns of the Soviet Union so they started calling themselves liberal since that was a laudable association in the US at the time.

Antifa the not-organization that seems very adept at organizing riots is composed of a bunch of militant anarchists and communists that pretty much reject wholesale the entire US economic and political system and they demonstrate this over and over by violently disrupting speeches by people they don't like, disrupting assemblies and rallies on the right by mob attacking the attendees, and more recently engaging in continuous rioting in multiple cities. Their primary tactics and tools are the very same which proto-fascists used - violence and intimidation on the streets, blacklisting and banishment in the workforce and academia.

So yeah, an old WW2 vet that was bombing Nazis is not fighting the same fight as 3 ex-cons trying to torch a used car dealership and stomp to death a 17 year old Trump supporter even if they all call themselves anti-fascist.
I'd whore myself out just one more time if I knew who to screw to get out of this grind.

So to demonstrate that I support the state seizing the means of production, I need to interrupt a speech about how Kaitlin Jenner is really a man.

Makes perfect sense.

Is it really fascist to claim that Kaitlin Jenner is, in fact, Bruce Jenner, and actually a man? Is antifa really fighting the good fight here by bashing in the speakers' heads?

Here's some commies marching with the "no borders, no wall, no USA at all" chant in DC:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpGs5bATYbU&t=38s

Oh look, here's a video where Antifa chants the same thing:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvePyY61Lds

Might be because they believe the same thing.

Kaitlin/Bruce Jenner is a side skirmish to allow people like you to laugh about their irrelevance. But as Leon Trotsky once said, you might not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.
I'd whore myself out just one more time if I knew who to screw to get out of this grind.
