Actually we of a certain age like to think that age = rational thought.

The opposite seems to be true.

QAnon is leaning towards a few years older than I am as their median age.

I bet people who really believe the election was stolen have an older median age as well. I suspect they are about my age or older on average.

The fact is when you get to be a certain age, you become a mush head. But the habits we developed, the motor memories and the hard belief that "all opinions are valid" shield us from any real critique of our beliefs at an age when it might still be helpful.

I think sex work should just be legal. Imagine prices up front for getting laid? As opposed to "I wonder if I will get fucked if I give her a house?"

There was actually an FBI investigation in 2019 of bomb-tinkering in his camper. He had those paranoid and tacky “No Trespassing” signs at his home, a bleak looking duplex. Can you imagine sharing a property with someone who posts that shit all over the place?
