Talk about it like it is happening because it is.
We knew trump was going to self-coup since this summer when the chief postie started removing mail drop boxes and dismantling sorting machines.

Then apply pressure.

But we were lucky. Our would-be dictator was lazy and dumb. A smart person would have set up a reason for postal dismantling to begin with or provided forged documents to prove "theft" of the election.
Instead he said shit like "I dont like to lose" and "perhaps i should give an executive order postponing the election"

I was as easy to anticipate as the ending of Benny Hill. Wejust did not know who would be running around with him to "Yakkity Sax". The difficult part was the large segment who favored the coup either by advocating it or believing the election was stolen.

It's remarkable the people continuing to follow him. And imagine if he were allowed to run again? How much damage could he do a second time? It's unthinkable. I don't think you'd come back from that.

Understatement of the year there.

And guess who's running now using all of Trump's rhetoric? It's like there's no shame anymore in being a bald faced liar.

The New York Post has an opinion piece by that Josh Hawley guy.

https://nypost.com/2021/01/24/its-time- ... f-america/

How dare they "Muzzle" "America" ?(meaning him, for supporting a coup and then having to switch from a real publisher of books like Simon And Schuster to Bob's Bible Books & Grill)

I cannot wait for that Bowling Pin like Sarah Sanders to run for Governor of Arkansas. She will probably drop out because her conspiracy theorist base eventually turns on her and she has to go into hiding.

It's a whole new genre of conservatism, isn't it?

Bitch conservative.

Traditional conservatives would be appalled.

Seems silly to call Trump a dictator IMO

Imagine that John McCain was still alive, politically active and in the Capital building on January 6th.

GWB bitch.

GWBs campaign accused him of having secret black family and then later they had cake together when the levee closest to the 9th ward in New Orleans broke.

He also caved to Tea Party pressure and brought on the vile Sara Palin.

I liked the guy but he had his bitch moments.

Got shot down over Hanoi, 5 years confinement with the communist government knowing he was the son of an admiral. 99 allegations of war crimes by Jane Fonda et al. but being a bitch ain't one.

I don’t think there is anything to be done.

Russians are chess players.

This particular game is at an advanced stage.

Plus, my head will explode if I have to witness a Russian uprising, after all the geopolitics shit that’s going on right now.

Imagine. Also imagine that they might try to let him run again. Notwithstanding the political posturing of Rubio, Hawley and Cruz.
